Weekend with Tony O'Rourke

Tony O’Rourke is a Worship Pastor and singer-songwriter based in Melbourne, Australia, originally from Auckland, New Zealand. With a lifelong passion for music and ministry, Tony has spent decades serving in church worship environments as a vocalist, worship leader, songwriter, and creative director.

Tony trained in performing arts and was recognised as the top male vocalist at Excel School of Performing Arts. He went on to tour, record, and release music both in worship and mainstream spaces, including winning two Pacific Music Awards with his band Lifestyle of Worship. His musical style blends heartfelt worship, soul, and contemporary influences, with a strong emphasis on authenticity and congregational engagement.

Beyond music, Tony has significant leadership experience within the local church. Alongside his wife Nandy, he was a Campus Pastor of an Equippers Church in New Zealand for four years and has been part of the Equippers movement since he came to Christ when he was 15. Currently based in Melbourne, he serves as the Worship Pastor, and mentors emerging leaders, while also working professionally in youth and school engagement with World Vision Australia.
